Especially For Egypt, Twitter access from Google Without Internet Connection

SAN FRANCISCO - Google Inc. finally launched a special service that allows people in Egypt to send Twitter messages (tweets) them with contact telephone numbers and voice message broadcasting. Until now access the Internet continues to cut in the country, amid anti-government protests.

"Like many people, we have been struggling to broadcast news in Egypt and think about what we can do to help people on the ground,"read a message sent on the company's official blog on Monday (31 / 1).

Services that, according to Google, developed by engineers from Twitter, enabling people to a single telephone number and voice message broadcasting.

Voice messages are automatically translated into a message sent on Twitter by using the identifier # egypt, Google said.

Google said in a posting on his blog, entitled "Some weekend work That will of (hopefully) enable more Egyptians to be Heard", that there is no need Internet connection to utilize these services.

Google lists three special phone numbers for those who wish to contact to take advantage of that service. Internet social networking services like Twitter and Facebook has become an important communication tool for protesters in Egypt.
