MOSCOW - Iranian Intelligence Minister, Heidar Moslehi, said that Tehran had evidence that al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden had died of illness shortly before the U.S. attacks on terrorist suspects, the official Iranian news agency Fars .
Osama bin Laden was killed on May 2 in Pakistani city of Abbottabad, north of the capital, Islamabad, in an attack by U.S. Navy Seals mission.
"We have accurate information that Osama bin Laden died of illness some time ago," said Moslehi.
According to previous news, Osama bin Laden's body was buried at sea less than 24 hours after surgery.
"If the U.S. military and intelligence apparatus has actually capture or kill Osama bin Laden, why did they not show her body, why they threw his corpse into the sea?" Moslehi said further.
A DNA test proved that the bodies of those killed were shot belonged to Osama bin Laden, who occupied the FBI's most wanted list in the last decade.
But White House spokesman, Jay Carney said on Wednesday that Washington will not issue a postmortem photograph of Osama bin Laden to avoid propaganda and possibly incite violence.
Meanwhile in Peshawar, Pakistan, hundreds of Taliban marched in a Pakistani tribal town on Monday, condemned the killing of Osama bin Laden and promised to avenge the death of al-Qaeda leader, officials said.
By chanted slogans condemning Pakistan and the United States, protesters gathered in Wana, the main town in South Waziristan where they forced the market close and then held a meeting at a madrassa closest.
The parade was the first demonstration of pro-bin Laden in Pakistan tribal region since U.S. troops entered Pakistan last week and killed the leader of Al-Qaeda.
Protesters, estimated at more than 500 people, mostly supporters or members of the group of Pakistani Taliban commander Maulvi Nazir, who supports the Taliban Afghanistan, officials said.
"Osama bin Laden is our leader, we are followers and we will continue the movement," said pro-Taliban cleric Maulvi Ibrahim on the march.
"We will take revenge from Pakistan and America. We have started to do this and recent attacks in Kandahar and elsewhere in Afghanistan was to avenge the death of martyrdom," he said.
